Are you divorced, going through a divorce, thinking about divorce?
I NEVER expected to be where I am now, to me marriage was a sacred contract, an unbreakable vow and a union of love. I couldn't have been more wrong. I really did love my husband, I'm sure I didn't always show it or always feel it but it was unshakable, or at least I believed it to be, I trusted him without question, BIG MISTAKE!
I will have much to write on here, of what has happened to lead up to this moment and what will follow but for now this is just the opener of the blog. I do not profess to be an expert or useful to anyone experiencing similar events but I may provide some advice based on my own experiences and hopefully some laughs along the way.
I don't yet have the Degree Nisi but it is close and the closer the Degree Absolute gets the better I feel. I can honestly say despite the initial shock, tears and wailing my life have dramatically improved since my spouse left. OK financially things are strained and there is the worry of mortgage, bills etc and yes there is also the more important worry of children and the effect of all this on them but I am no longer being controlled by another and that is good feeling.
